The Power to Move

Buying a home is a big deal. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or experienced mover, let’s take a look at the key steps to buying a new build home. It’s good to be prepared, after all – giving you The Power to Move.

The Power to Enjoy

One of the benefits of buying a new build home is avoiding costly and time-consuming renovation work. Everything’s fresh and new, with warranties and guarantees for peace of mind. Spend your time and money on living, not fixing — giving you The Power to Enjoy.

The Power to Trust

With improved standards, 94% of today’s new build home buyers recommending their builder to a friend, and independent protection through the consumer code, the majority of buyers also benefit from the New Homes Ombudsman too —giving you The Power to Trust.

The Power to Buy

Whether you are interested in low deposit mortgage options like Own New, or need help with marketing and selling your current home, there are a number of buying schemes and incentives available to make buying a home simpler and more affordable – giving you The Power to Buy.

The Power to Save

Homes built today are designed with sustainability in mind, making them significantly more energy efficient than older properties. This means you could reduce the amount of power you use and cut your monthly energy bills. Put energy efficiency high on the list — giving you The Power To Save.

The Power to Relax

Picture this: an all-new home, free from hidden horrible histories and nothing but nice surprises, with the added peace of mind of a 10/-year warranty and 2-year builder guarantee —  giving you The Power to Relax.

The Power to Belong

Moving home marks an exciting fresh chapter. Whether moving locally or relocating, explore how the shared fresh start and thought-fully designed spaces help to build that true sense of home – giving you The Power to Belong.

Research: Watt a Save: The new build advantage

A new report from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and Octopus Energy has revealed that modern, energy-efficient new build homes offer significant cost savings and major reductions in household carbon emissions compared to older properties.

The report, Watt a Save, compares energy usage between new and older housing stock, demonstrating that properties built to current industry standards consistently deliver lower energy consumption, reduced running costs, and a substantially smaller carbon footprint

Homeowner stories

“We were looking at new builds after deciding that our cottage required too much maintenance and we wanted to move to something which would be less demanding.”

Judith

There is a lot of green open space on the development and we like the fact that the houses are not built on top of each other. When we look out we can see over the nearby fields.

Charlotte

“The biggest difference with renovating and older property compared with this opne is cost and time, because there’s always hidden problems with older properties”

Debi

“When we looked at new builds we looked at energy bills and energy ratings. When we got a smart metre we couldn’t believe how cheap it is.”
