For over 80 years we have been building homes and developing communities across the UK and have established a reputation for providing excellent an excellent service and product. The most important people are the customers who choose our homes in which to build their future. Their satisfaction and confidence in us, from our very first meeting onwards, is a key measure of our success.

We invest everything into providing a smooth customer journey – it’s designed not just to please but to exceed expectations and sooth any potential worries. So, from securing convenient locations with excellent transport links and amenities, to building and selling quality new homes with support from our experienced sales and site staff, we hear from our customers as to why it must be Miller Homes.

Location – the best of both worlds

We pride ourselves on building quality homes in convenient locations. Access to local amenities, picturesque surroundings and good transport links have been highlighted by our customers as priorities when looking to purchase a new home.

Customers Geoff and Linda Davies, who purchased their new home at our Weavers Grange development in Moulton, were pleased by the prospect of living in Moulton as it was not only local to the area they knew but had the ideal balance of country living and modern conveniences, as well as transport links to bigger cities.  The couple were delighted with their new home and after showing it to their daughter Julie; she too loved it so much that she purchased the same house type further up the road on the same development.

“Geoff and I were so pleased with our new home that we felt the need to tell everyone about it. Now we certainly don’t have to travel far if we need to borrow some milk! It’s just wonderful having our family a stone’s throw away,” said Linda.

Geoff added: “We’re so happy to be living in Moulton, especially with our daughter now so close.  We never thought it would work out this way, but it’s absolutely perfect.”

Location is also very significant to families when hunting for a new home, especially those looking to purchase a home in a family friendly area.

This was true for the McManus family from our Keepers Gate development in Glasgow: “We felt it was quite rural as well as being close by all the amenities that we needed…it felt like an area for a family”.

Knowledge is key

We understand that buying a home is a huge investment and our experienced and knowledgeable team provide our customers with the confidence that they have made the right choice in purchasing their dream home with Miller Homes.

First time buyers Campbell and Becky highlighted that from the get go the sales team at The Acres development in Bedlington were ready and eager to help them start their first home journey.

Becky explained: “When visiting Miller Homes for the first time we were greeted by Kayleigh…and immediately you can see her passion, she was very knowledgeable about the properties”.

Especially for first time buyers, we are aware that the buying process can be daunting and sometimes confusing so we aim to make their experience as stress-free as possible. Campbell and Becky certainly felt that this was the case: “Nothing was too much bother for her…she was so happy at the thought of making this our first home”.

Incentives – to help you on your way

We offer a wide range of incentives at Miller Homes ranging from helping you with your deposit to taking over the burden of selling your existing home.

Zoe Potts, 30, her husband Alex, 35, and their two children moved just a few miles from their old terraced home to a three bedroom, three-storey brand new home at our Lindley Park development in Yorkshire.

One of incentives we offer is Help to Buy a Government backed scheme to help buyers secure a mortgage on a new build home. The initiative enabled Zoe and Alex to purchase their three-storey home. Zoe said of their move: “not only do we love having our own home we are also in a stronger financial position due to our mortgage being cheaper than our rent and our utility bills decreasing significantly due to the energy efficient credentials of our new home”.

Another incentive we offer is Part Exchange. Part exchange allows prospective buyers to exchange their old home for a brand new Miller home, removing the stress of selling your own home and removing the need for estate agents fees.

Katherine and Chris Cundall, who had a home in Thorpe Willoughby near Selby with their two children, had heard that a new development was to be built in the village and decided to wait until it opened.  Visiting on the day that it was launched, they were lucky enough to be able to secure a four bedroom home through our Part Exchange scheme.

“Having the opportunity to buy a brand new, bigger home without having to sell our home made moving so straightforward.  The entire Miller Homes team has been supportive throughout the entire process from the first time we visited right until after we moved in,” said Katherine.
