Countryside has launched an elegant range of three-bedroom houses along tree-lined avenues at Brook Valley Gardens, its landmark ‘garden suburb’ style development in leafy Chipping Barnet, north London.

They are part of the latest phase of homes to come to market, known as Chapter 3. Later this year comes the release of additional one- and two-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom houses will also be available.

The homes, each with its own private outdoor space, have been designed by Alison Brooks Architects with contemporary style and with sustainability in mind to help reduce carbon emissions, such as rainwater harvesting, increasing local biodiversity and community recycling.

This phase forms part of the major regeneration of the Dollis Valley housing estate, which will comprise of 600 new homes when complete, consisting predominately of houses. The development also features a central garden square, new green spaces and community facilities, including a community centre, children’s play areas and pre-school nursery.

Daniel Layton, managing director, Partnerships North London, Countryside, said: “The launch of the new phase at Brook Valley Gardens comprises a range of high-quality modern homes and offers the perfect canvas for first-time buyers, downsizers and families with ample green open space, community facilities and excellent connectivity to the rest of the capital and beyond.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure residents’ wellbeing is at the heart of the development, which is why the development is within a sanctuary of green space, wildlife and nature. In today’s age, this is what makes this north London development so special.”

Brook Valley Gardens has a variety of amenities on its doorstep with Barnet High Street nearby, and a range of local shops and boutiques as well as the Spires Centre, home to a Waitrose, several fashion chains and coffee hotspots. Barnet also has a long-established market tradition with stalls selling organic fruit and vegetables and locally produced bread.

Barnet is also the perfect choice for families as the area boasts many senior schools ranked amongst the best in the country as well as having several highly credited nurseries.

The development’s surroundings offer something for everyone. The area is made up of a tapestry of green spaces for residents to enjoy and explore, such as Dollis Valley Greenwalk, offering walkers a 10-mile footpath running from Moat Mount to Hampstead Heath.

The neighbourhood is well-served by a variety of transport links and connects residents to the city and beyond. High Barnet station, which is an 11-minute walk away, sits on the Northern line with the City branch connecting commuters to King’s Cross St Pancras for mainline train and Eurostar services, and the City in less than 40 minutes. The Charing Cross branch takes residents directly to the West End at Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square.

Prices for the three-bedroom houses start from just £650,000. The Chapter 3 show home at Brook Valley Gardens is open by appointment.
