If you’re thinking about heading out for a bite to eat close to new homes in Exeter, here are some of Cavanna Homes’ (tried and tested) favourite places to visit!
Breakfast or brunch spots
There’s plenty of breakfast and brunch hotspots to try out across the city. On Exeter’s Quayside, swing by Café Mangos for Avo Toast or a Famers Breakfast accompanied with a delicious coffee by the waterside. Or, if you’re up in the city centre then head over to Boston Tea Party for an epic range of brunch favourites…they even welcome dogs too!
Great lunches
If you’re dashing about town on the weekend and need an on-the-go lunch, then check out The Guildhall Street Food Market. Local traders serve up scrumptious food all day ranging from American favourites to German classics.
In the Guildhall you’ll also find a great selection of restaurants to dine in. Comptoir Libanais serves a fantastic and flavoursome range of Lebanese food, or for Vietnamese dishes, make sure to visit Pho or The Terrace for a delicious lunch and cocktail!
Delicious places for dinner
For excellent vegetarian and vegan dishes, book a table at Herbies Restaurant on North Street. Herbies champions vibrant and hearty food and is perfect for an intimate dinner or celebration.
The Rendezvous in Southernhay is an independent wine bar and restaurant offering an exciting and ever-changing menu as well as an intriguing wine list and great service. Produce is sourced as locally as possible and almost everything is made in-house. It’s one of our favourites!
The restaurants and cafés we have recommended within this blog are all within 30-minute journeys of Cavanna @ Elm Park and our Equinox community. Reaching Exeter City Centre using public transport is easy to do from these developments too.
