WhatHouse? Award-winning Redrow is set to launch the first 85 homes in a brand new apartment building, Carmelia House, at its Colindale Gardens development in north-west London on Saturday 13 November.
The latest launch is another significant step in the delivery of 4,100 new homes at Colindale Gardens. To date, more than 1,200 homeowners have moved into the bustling new community and hundreds more will call Colindale Gardens home in 2022.
Carmelia House will consist of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, and prices will start from £325,000. The apartments also benefit from proximity to the site’s amenities which include an indoor gym, 24-hour concierge service and outdoor play areas and exercise equipment. All new homes have outdoor space, in the form of a private balcony or terrace.
Homes in the newly launched Carmelia House are a short stroll from Colindale station on the Northern line, with access to both the West End (23 minutes) and the City (29 minutes) in under half-an-hour.
Set across 47 acres, Colindale Gardens has established a reputation as a vibrant community that makes effective use of its outdoor areas, with a fifth of the land allocated to open green spaces for residents and the surrounding community to enjoy, including communal gardens, cycle paths, walkways, and attractive landscaping.
The centrepiece of the site is a four-acre central park, designed as a modern village green for the community. There are future plans for local shops, cafés, and restaurants to help create a vibrant new destination, as well as a health centre and new primary school which will provide essential community facilities on residents’ doorsteps.
The local area is also undergoing transformation, with significant investment funding earmarked. Plans will bring new high-quality homes, amenities, services, facilities and transport upgrades to both Colindale and the surrounding areas of Brent Cross, West Hendon and Cricklewood.
Jody Bryant, head of sales at Redrow Greater London, said: “Colindale Gardens has already become north-west London’s premier new housing destination and we are excited to launch the latest phase in this sought-after development. The site’s signature is its carefully curated communal areas and beautifully landscaped gardens which create a real sense of space, despite being a short tube ride away from the heart of the capital.”
Prices in the Carmelia House start at £325,000. Find out more at www.colindalegardens.co.uk.
