Barratt Homes – once again successful in the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards this year – is celebrating the success of Sundial Place in Thornton, Merseyside, with the final homes on Phase 3 now ready to reserve ahead of the New Year.

The housebuilder also has a number of offers available to make life easier for buyers considering settling down at the development, situated on Lydiate Lane. Selected homes are eligible for a £10,000 deposit contribution, and there is also the option to consider the developer’s bespoke Deposit Unlock scheme with just a 5% deposit required.

The selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes expected to be ready for buyers to move into for spring and summer next year.

Until Tuesday 30 November, Plot 37, the ‘Kingsley’ house type, is available with a £10,000 deposit contribution. Priced at £345,000, it has a fitted kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden, a separate lounge, downstairs WC, utility and storage cupboards, three double bedrooms (one with en suite), a single bedroom, and a family bathroom.

Having launched in October 2020, Sundial Place will deliver a selection of 183 new homes to the community, as well as almost £500,000 as an investment to the area via the planning agreement with Sefton Borough Council, including funds for primary schools, open spaces and a new roundabout for the scheme.

As part of the new development, the homebuilder has also continued its aim of creating wildlife friendly habitats within the new community and provided a collection of features within its show home gardens to encourage this, including bird boxes, hedgehog highways and hedgehog homes.

Phillipa Stewart, sales director at Barratt Homes North West, said: “Demand for homes at Sundial Place has been high with the completion of its first and second phases, and we are increasingly excited about the community that is being established in Thornton.”

Sundial Place is set in the charming location of Thornton, ideal for growing families, with pretty country parks, esteemed golf clubs, excellent shopping and the coastline nearby. Starting prices for the current homes for sales range from £245,000 to £357,500. Find out more from Barratt Homes.
