A Barratt Homes Technical Project Manager has recently bought a new home in Northamptonshire from his employer and moved to its Saxon Rise development in Brixworth.

Adam Quayle, originally from Anglesey, has upsized into his first home with his partner Alessandra Rizzuto, who works in marketing.

Adam Quayle, originally from Anglesey, has upsized into his first home with his partner Alessandra Rizzuto, who works in marketing.

Having previously lived in an apartment located close to town, Adam was keen to purchase a home with more space in a rural location to settle down with Alessandra. The four bedroom property at Barratt Homes’ Blackthorn Crescent development offered this opportunity

Adam said: “The decision to buy with Barratt Homes was an easy one for me. I work closely with the house styles and their designs, therefore I knew which layout would suit Alessandra and I best.

“The homebuilder met a lot of our criteria and offers a differing mix of properties suiting many different buying profiles.

“We wanted a new build because we knew there would be no DIY work required. We also knew we’d be moving into a finished product and using Barratt Homes’ Choices range allowed us to put our own stamp on our home.”

The couple chose a Cambridge style property, a detached home with a comfortable lounge, separate dining room, open-plan kitchen and breakfast area, plus a utility room, cloakroom and study all on the ground floor.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms with an en suite to the master, as well as a convenient family bathroom. A single detached garage completes the property.

Adam continued: “The layout of the home is brilliant for us with the spacious living areas downstairs. The lounge and the kitchen and dining area in particular were two big factors in our decision.

“Saxon Rise is great for both of us geographically, as we have easy access to work and we’re residing close to the countryside with Pitsford Reservoir and a range of footpaths close to home.

“It sounds quite basic but my favourite part about coming home is simply parking on the drive and being able to walk straight into the house. This was something I couldn’t do in my apartment so it’s a real benefit.”

Adam and Alessandra are enjoying a friendly environment and a convenient location at the development with shops, a pub and a hairdresser’s within walking distance.

Alison Raine, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “It’s always great to hear that one of our employees has moved into a Barratt property, as it shows they believe in the quality and practicality of the product they are designing and selling.

“Most importantly, we’re delighted that Adam and Alessandra are enjoying their new home at Saxon Rise as the development has a great deal to offer a range of different buyers.”

Whilst benefiting from the village amenities close to home, homebuyers at the development are able to take advantage of the excellent transport links to Northampton and Market Harborough.

A brand new doctor’s surgery has also recently opened on the development, ensuring residents have a valuable health facility on their doorstep.
