Angie and David Taylor were the first couple to move in to Willows Edge and are loving life in their four-bedroom detached dormer bungalow, after looking for the perfect home and location to retire to for more than two years. They fell in love with the design of Story Homes’ properties and knew they wanted to own one of their homes.

It was all down to right house type and location to suit their lives now they have both retired. It was third time lucky for the couple, who were pipped to the post on two previous occasions to buy a home in the beautiful village location of Wrea Green. As a previous reservation fell through, they jumped at the chance to secure their home and get the process started.

Angie said “From day one the team have looked after us. From meeting everyone at the launch, the team have made sure we have been kept informed not only about Willows Edge. Once we reserved, Jan, our sales executive on site, has been amazing taking us through the buying process stage by stage and then also being a great help with our choices and the upgrades we have chosen for our home. It has been an amazing experience with your team – they have been patient and understood our needs completely.

“There wasn’t a Richmond to view anywhere across the group so we were putting our complete faith in to the team and they didn’t let us down. Having helpful staff who really care has made a massive difference and even when we had any issues we had complete confidence in the team as they kept us informed throughout.

“We love our home with the large lounge offering the perfect relaxation space with bi-folding doors opening out to the rear garden, but the heart of the home is the kitchen and dining area. It’s great for entertaining again with bi-folding doors opening up to the paved patio and turfed garden. Upstairs we have three spacious bedrooms and the most amazing bathroom. I can sit in the tub and gaze at the stars through the velux window.

“We are enjoying our retirement in this beautiful village location which offers the best of both country and town living.”
