A toothbrush and other

personal items could be all you need to pack when moving to a new home in Clitheroe.

Prospect Homes is counting down the final properties at two developments in the Lancashire town, Rose Gardens and Greenfields.

Some of the homes are ready to be occupied and so that buyers can move straight in and enjoy a new lease of life in their new home, Prospect is offering a sizzling incentive for summer movers.

Prospect’s head of sales Samantha Williams explains: “Rose Gardens and Greenfields are less than two miles apart and between them there’s a choice of three and four-homes available, including some that are ready to move into. Selected properties include carpets, curtains and light fittings, plus we may even be able to provide furniture too. If that wasn’t enough, we’re also offering to include turf to the rear garden, plus a barbecue and £200 worth of supermarket vouchers. It could be that quite literally all you need is your toothbrush and other personal affects!”

Properties ready to move into include the four-bedroom Lucerne at Rose Gardens, priced at £280,000 and the three-bedroom Foxtail at Greenfields priced at £210,000.

“The Lucerne and Foxtail style homes lend themselves well to socially distanced summer entertaining and a barbecue is a great idea for a housewarming,” Samantha adds.

“Open plan kitchen and dining rooms are at the rear of both of these homes, with French doors offering direct access to the garden or back inside – perfect for when the British weather means running inside to escape a shower of rain.”

Homes at Rose Gardens and Greenfields are eligible for Help to Buy. Those who take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price should typically only need a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage to secure a new home.

Alternatively, those with a house to sell could find that they can move sooner than they thought with Easy Move, where Prospect will work with estate agents to manage the sale, or part exchange.

All of the homes are currently under the threshold for Stamp Duty.

“Stamp Duty is something buyers can overlook when they’re budgeting for a new home so the fact the Government has temporarily removed the tax on properties priced up to £500,000 is a welcome boost to the housing market, helping buyers make their money go further,” Samantha added.

Rose Gardens and Greenfields are both open by appointment only and with social distancing measures in place.
